Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for the planning, direction, coordination and execution of all activities and personnel within the housekeeping departments. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping activities are carried out professionally

This position will assure quality standards, superior guest satisfaction, enhancement of organization throughout the guest floors, and drive improvements within the department.

Responsible for all duties of the housekeeping operation and cleanliness levels in all areas of the propertyResponsibilities include colleague training, inter-departmental communications, and colleague scheduling
The Housekeeping Manager will promote an atmosphere that ensures strong guest orientation and colleague engagement to reflect company’s Standards and Procedures
This position requires strong attention to details, leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and function with other department heads, guests and team members
Ensure all short and long term planning and the management of the hotel’s housekeeping operations
Ensure that the inspection program is consistently maintained and inspect rooms daily
Maintain excellent communication and coordination with all hotel departments
Responsible for development and recommending the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans
Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest complaints
Must have a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars
Ensures proper staffing levels for customer service goals

Requirement request

  • 8 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree is an asset
  • Strong and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess excellent organizations, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • A team player with a good portion of personality
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and coach a team
