Alti Profili, the executive search division of Umana Group specialized in middle management recruitment for both the Italian and international markets, is recruiting on behalf of an international company developing advanced digital solutions for the industrial sector, a:

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – Embedded & Industrial Systems (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities:

In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Contribute to Agile software development projects for mobile machinery;
  • Work closely with software developers, technical specialists and project stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment;
  • Support the analysis of software requirements and technical solutions across different technologies and system components;
  • Participate in technical discussions related to software architecture, interfaces, communication protocols and system integration;
  • Gradually take on responsibilities related to project coordination, planning and communication;
  • Collaborate across different technical areas, developing a broader understanding of embedded software systems and their integration within complex products.

Personal and professional qualities:

  • Previous professional experience as a Software Developer, ideally gained within automotive, embedded, industrial automation, machinery or other technical environments;
  • Alternatively, candidates coming from other software development environments will be considered if they can demonstrate a strong technical interest in embedded systems, developed through university projects or personal projects involving technologies such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, STM32, home automation, IoT or similar;
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies gained within a software development team;
  • Interest in working beyond the boundaries of pure application development, approaching topics such as embedded devices, Linux systems, virtualization, networking, communication protocols, gateways, automation or system integration;
  • The role is open to Software Developers interested in progressively developing coordination and project management responsibilities;
  • Good command of the English language and good working autonomy in German.

Strong technical curiosity, communication skills, problem-solving ability and a proactive, structured approach complete the profile.

Starting from €50,000 gross annual salary, plus meal vouchers, 50% remote working, flexible working hours and additional benefits.
